In the first quarter of 2025, the top word puzzle games on the Android platform in Russia showcased varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at how these games fared in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue.

Word Search Game: Find Words from Malpa Games started the quarter with a significant number of weekly downloads, peaking at 152.8K in early January. However, a downward trend was observed, with downloads dropping to approximately 65.1K by the end of March. Despite this, the game maintained a strong weekly active user base, fluctuating between 648K and 961K throughout the quarter.

Words of Wonders: Crossword by Fugo Games experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 93.1K and decreasing to 50.1K by the end of the quarter. The active users showed a more stable trend, ranging from 1.6M to 2M, indicating consistent engagement despite the drop in new downloads.
